Religious Education (RE)

At Greenways, we use Jigsaw RE (Formally Discovery RE) as our scheme of learning to deliver RE to KS1 and KS2. Jigsaw RE – Discovery RE – Jigsaw Education (jigsaweducationgroup.com)

We aim to provide pupils with a comprehensive understanding of the world's major religions, ethical principles and cultural traditions. Through our program of learning, we ensure respect, empathy and a sense of community of fostered through all units of work which supports pupils in having a well-rounded worldview. 

Through different approaching to learning we ensure that our pupils are respectful, tolerant, empathetic, positive and have informed perspectives so they are better equipped to make informed decisions and contribute thoughtfully to society.
